What type of Coil-overs are people running?
How much did you give and where?
Post tons of pics for front and rear mountings.
Pros and cons of these "things".

I was thinking of fabbing up the Jeep and dropping some on there, but what to know what other people paid/feel about them first.... and reasons to convince the wife i need them :worship:

what exactly are you looking to gain?

What is limiting your jeep right now that you hope that coilovers will help you with?

Here is a thread with pics in it of airshocks / coilover mounts...

My wallet is too fat so I end up sitting all leaned over.

I'm hoping that if I put coilovers on my car, I'll have to drive it much less than I currently do.

If you're running normal width axles and a full frame, it's going to be really hard to make them fit in the rear, without the tires starting to rub the coils during flex. I would not run them between the framerails.

Front, I don't know why you couldn't put them where the coils are right nowif you wanted to. Or you could just get good shocks and run them next to coils?

I'm in the process of setting up 14" SAWs with remote resi's and 250lb/175lb springs in the rear. No pictures yet, once I finish welding up the link mounts I'll be working on that (hopefully this coming weekend).

I guess this is my question as well. I'm going to them because my whole rear setup had to change anyway.. so why not?
There is a lot to research and learn. Head over to the PBB and do some reading is my best advise.

Ballistic fab's coilovers seem great, and are fully adjustable (have to rebuild em tho). bullivista did a write up on em and liked them a lot.

I always loved Will's old Green XJ with his version of a rear 4 link and coilovers. It was simple, and effective. Definetly what I would go for if I we're to go rear 4 link.
