I may make the trip up from Fayetteville. Does anyone know if there is a cost to get in to the event? If so, how much is it? Thanks for your help.

Cost to get in is $2 and you get a lottery ticket. To sell in swap meet is $10.

Runs from 10 to 5 on Saturday

I talked with the wife, and it looks like we will be making the trek up there on Sat to look around. It would be nice to meet some of those who are going. Will there be any place that folks are meeting, or just look around for xj's? All I need to find now are good directions.

Get up to I40. Take I40 towards Raleigh(coming from West). Take Wade exit which bears to the right.

Once on Wade you will go by the RBC Center(big basketball/hockey arena) on your right. Look for NC State Fairground signs. It is the first exit after the RBC center.

You went to far up Wade if you come to 440.

Thanks go out to CNC-4x4 and all their sponsors for hosting a great event. I missed Issac, but fell among the other XJ faithful: Ken, Keith, Ron, Rusty, Tim88, Johann, Don & and all you other wet rats who hung out.

Also a shoutout to the nice NCHP Trooper who brought out one of their XJs, that isn't his assigned patrol car :dunno: and he didn't even have to arrest anyone all day. eace:

sorry i missed you woody. we were only there for about an hour. the wife was getting hungry for lunch. hopefully i can get up to your neck of the woods to do some wheeling soon.

Congrats on the new(?) stripe. SP4 is the best rank in the Army IMHO. Just enough to see what's going on and have fun with it.
