Clutch, Pressure Plate and Flywheel

I have a clutch, pressure plate and flywheel for a '95 XJ 4.0L engine. It was installed for less than 1000 miles. The clutch and pressure plate surfaces are in excellent shape. The flywheel has a couple of small heat spots, but they may easily come out with a bit of sanding. They are not deep.

The flywheel was balanced when the clutch was installed. It ran very smoothly, and there was no clutch chatter whatsoever.

I believe I also have the throwout bearing, but I'd install a new one regardless.

Located near Pasadena, and I am asking $100.

No one has a manual trans anymore? This could make a really good spare.

Price drop to $75.

if someone local buys this and brings me the flywheel i'll resurface it for 25 bucks at my NAPA shop, it will be like brand new.

You mean no one runs manual transmissions any more? This would make a great spare set, or replacement for your tired clutch.

Surely someone has an AX-15, and they need a decent clutch and pressure plate for a really good price? And, don't call my Shirley.

David what brand is it? You're local so I may pick it up for when mine shits the bed

Oh wait...not pasadena md...I'm a tard. Stupid phone app

No worries! I'm a bit all over the place, but the clutch is in Pasadena, CA. I'd be willing to ship it, but I'm guessing hipping won't be cheap.

Will someone please buy this, and get it out of my (and my storage person's) hair. It really is a good deal, and it's in decent shape. Only reason I didn't reuse it was because I didn't know its condition before removal, and I needed parts on hand.

Question - did you happen to measure the lengths of the screws used to attach the flywheel to the crankshaft?

Surprisingly enough, yes. I wanted to get new bolts, but couldn't find them in time.

1/2-20 Overall length 1.121". Thread length 0.863".

Now, please buy my clutch!

Thank you - that thread length is what I wanted (5/8".)

I would, if I needed a clutch! GLWS.

If you need to know how long the flywheel bolts are, you need a clutch!

Got to thinking about this - thread length is more like 7/8". Was that just a typo on your part?

Not so much - I just keep forgetting to measure them, so I can add the information to my site, or find alternatives to OEM (just as the flexplate screws. Yeah, you can get OEM, but I found a better kit through ARP that's intended for Pontiac V8 engines...)
