I may be wrong, but I thought they made a slight change in the shape of the part that goes over the steering column when they changed steering column designs in 95, but I haven't checked closely, and I'm not at home to look at my 89 spare one.

You may be right. I wasn't thinking about the steering column.

Okay, to be safe revise my previous response to include only 1984 thru 1994.
