It's the transmission that changed in 98. A input speed sensor was added to measure the speed of the input shaft of the trans. Another speed sensor also measures the speed of the output shaft of the trans. If the computer can't tell a difference in the speed of the two sensors it will throw the CEL.

Its from a 96, but the tcase will work just fine on a 98 up.

You guys can have the rear driveshaft, and maybe even a front one too... There is no SYE though.

We can use a t-case drop and the stock rear shaft should work.

I thought Rough Country donated a 3 inch lift? IF we are using the 4.5 what happens to the 3" Rough Country? Can we sell it, to pay for some tires?

This is fing amazing. I knew once we got it out in a post this thread would take off like wild fire. What a great show family from my fam. Sorry I've been out of the loop. Just had a big job change that has taken me out of town and through an crazy change in work. Way to go guys, looking forward to helping out.

BTW I've got the Losi Mini Rock Crawler on the way Rusty so you can get back on the rocks before you are back in the jeep.
