Holy Crap, it's Mike!
Holy Crap, it's Mike!
you stalk incorrectly grasshoppah... Coy Hill it wasnt.
the "chicken runs" started back in 03 0r 04.. before that they were loosely planned annual runs of a small group of guys i met from RI.. as wheeling got bigger around new england everyone heard about it and wanted to join in so we started organizing the runs which offered execellent stock-to-difficult wheeling on the same trail. by the time we did the 3rd run in 2 years, we had 48 rigs showing up!
then everyone started going back there with their friends and big groups were a weekly occurance.. so, much like Coy Hill, it was shut down by the locals because it just got too much traffic and attention. another fine example of people not keeping a low profile and going there too often.
last i heard Ryan CheapXJ was in Pa about 4 years ago looking to start his own fab shop. he was a good kid, just lost touch with him.
oh yeah, Wright's doesnt accept reservations for less than 50 people, we showed up with 64 in the last huge group we did and it only took 45 mins to get seated.
enjoy your party guys, i still go there at least once a year with the family. don't miss it if you don't have to.
