Ok, here's the deal. i have a buddy thats trying to sell his car. it looks like he has it sold. ive convinced him to get an xj. so, hes going to be looking for one, around the $2000 range. it needs to be a reliable driver most of all. anyone have one, or know bout one? were in alta, ca, about 60 miles east of sac.

ok, gonna put up a few more specifics, as to what were llooking for. i know its hard with his budget, though. stock is fine, i have a used re 3.5 kit i cant put on it for him cheap. its going to be his daily driver, so prefere something lower miles, 150,000ish or lower prefered. hes not much of a mechanic, so i have to fix whatever goes wrong with it. prefere 91 or later HO, but not a necesity. still open to any sugestions, and i'll pass it on.

thanks for the info. i'll let him know. still pending the sell of his car, though. speaking of which, if any interested, i believe its a 1970 maverick, 250 6, auto, new blue paint, runs fine, but needs interior work. he wants $1,500 for it.
