Cherokee Turbo Kit

Heat is the biggest enemy!!! no matter how much you try to insulate, it just becomes a huge oven down there. Heat must be allowed to dissipate/rise and flow OUT of the engine bay.

I modified this intake by removing the webbing between the runners to further allow the flow of heat out of the engine bay

Boost isnt everything!!! Why boost really high if you have to do serious timing retard....I have found that you can make more Hp/TQ (down low where it counts)by using more aggressive timing with less boost (say 7psi) than with 14+psi and lots of timing retard. With more boost you wont feel the pull until higher RPM but with the lower boost and more advanced timing the engine responds much better and boosts up much quicker. If you use a high octane fuel though, go ahead and boost away and try not to pull much timing.

There is no reason u can't run high boost on pump gas. I run 15 lbs of boost on 93 pump gas in my turbo volvos. The stock CR is 8.7-1 Mine is at about 9-1 now (from decking the head). That is on an unmodifyed fuel system. With a rrfr you can run 20 pound of boost on the stock block and head.

So what is going on with this "Group Buy"? I am in line if we can get this going.

BTW, did we say that this kit will fit under the hood completely?
