Oh, I can take it.... but the "ribbing" is way off. He is making fun of Orcas Island.... hell, most of us on my island make fun of Orcas Island. He could at least make fun of something here...like waving to everybody. Now THAT would be funny. Yes, I have even waved at a KJ.

Sorry about that, i was really trying to find a good place to look, not necessarily an xj, it came out like a wanted ad though.

Where exactly are you located?

What's wrong with it? Is it a manual tranny?

I checked out South Hill today. Got my Rear Skid taken care of. They had one other one, and a couple of Jeeps with factory tow hooks and brackets.

As for usable XJ's, they only have one listed FS. They wanted $1000. Don't know what year. had a 2.8 engine. Was Manual. There were a half dozen XJ's (one a comanche) that could be used, but they were not listed on the FS page the guy had behind the counter.

I've got a pretty straight/clean red '88 with bad motor you could have for $800. It's full power, auto, 242, cruise, tilt, etc.
