I will put this date in my Calendar... this sounds like a good reason to make a trip down there.

I was going to post that I'd be there and then I checked my calendar. I've already committed that date to aaron from OMC Offroad for his thanksgiving food drive.
I will pay for a hand, if some one wanted to play it.already I could still contribute that way.
I'll spread the word about this fundraiser.

Are you going out to per run a trail setup?If so when do you plan on it? If i'm open that day i'll try to make out there to help with this.I can bring a open/open jeep on a small lift with 32's or i can bring my other jeep thats locked F&R with 35's.

Let me know, plus i can get a friend or 2 to join in maybe to help.

So the details of the run as of now are as follows.

being the charity's first run its going to be VERY basic. Start is at 4x4 training center, off to tether ball, notches, phone booth and back to 4x4 training center for results,food and raffle.

price is $20 per vehicle $5 per additional dinner $5 per additional hand.
best hand, runner up and worst hand get prizes, hoping to be able to get 3rd place as well info to come as i get things figured out.

im trying desperately to get prize donations and raffle prizes and will be posting up what im able to score as it becomes donated.

food is going to be very basic for the first run, chili dogs, sodas and some kind of side. we will be having a keg of some sort as well for the adults.

so far i have two field marshal's that will be sweeping after the participants to make sure everyone makes it back safe and sound.
The two clubs helping me so far are Creeps "n" jeeps and Inland Jeep Freeks, i would love to have NAXJA there as well.

forgive me as both sites are under construction and need some work.
our goal is a 4 pronged attack. i want to help support the oncology center that treated Michelle, I want to provide financial assistance for terminally ill melanoma patients for end of life expenses, provide direct funding to melanoma research, and eventually provide transportation for melanoma patients for medical appointments.

you all are the first place i have posted the run! the website and face book page will be announced in the next week.

Any questions please feel free to ask! i hope to have a great turn out to have some fun raise some awareness and help a great cause!

Great initiative! Wish I could be there too but at least I can wish others to have a great time!
 
I will put this out to all my local wheeling buddies and see what kind of a turnout we can get. If I am not underway and my jeep is wheelable, I will be there.

Might be up for a pre-run (unless I'm busy then also)... unfortunately I have prior plans on the weekend of the actual run...

Man thats cutting it close.I'll see what i can do.But i'll bust my butt to make out there to help per run a trail.

As for being hot, yea, it's the desert dude.LOL
Only a true desert rat handles this heat all day in his jeep like i do.Most folks that live in the desert hide in there AC homes.
