CD player

I recently won an auction on eBay for an Infinity factory CD player that came out of a 1994 Chrysler. I know I'm worrying too much and this may seem like a stupid question, but will it be compatible with my 98 XJ? I know all Chrysler product stereos are compatible (for the most part), but I just want to make sure. (I'm replacing my aftermarket Panasonic CD player with the factory player I bought.)

I "think" all cherokee's use DIN stereo's. (double check by going to crutchfield.com and entering your info). With that being said, as far as I know, infinity stereo's are NOT DIN.

As I said before, I'm replacing the crappy Panasonic CD player that was in my XJ when I bought it. I like the sound of the Infinity a lot better.

I can't see why it wouldn't work -- the factory CD players are all interchangable between ChryCo products...

You should be fine. There are many people who have installed Infinity heads in non-Infinity vehicles and the opposite. FYI.. on the newer cars the Infinity option was just better speakers and an additional amp. The head was the same across the line.
