cb mounting

I just picked up a new cb and and am lookin for a good/easy access place to mount my cb, i mounted a power inverter to the plastic to the right of the passenger seat with industrail velcro and do not want to go the same why with the cb. So if anyone has good mount pics or ideas let me here them. By the way th is is going in a xj.

it works aslong as you have a small CB
Its in the place where the garage door opener is supposed to go
not having a garage where I live it wasn't hard to give this spot up
the sunglass holder still comes down and works

Mounted mine between the sun visors. It's an old Midland 23 channel. Had to buid a bracket but it's been there for over a year with no problems.

Mounted my Cobra in the same place. On my '99 there's a lip below the headliner that I drilled two small holes into and used to bolt up the cobra mount. I then ran the 20ft of Coax back and forth under the headliner and ran the wiring down the A piller and through the fender well to my antenna. I've had mine up there for nearly 3 years now.

I also had to make brackets, it may be a little to big to put up there, but it still works there!

Since the last one stopped working, here's another. And yes, the A/C still works, the fan is for the riders in the back (kids).
