Carnagefest: 8/9/08, REDBIRD SRA Dugger, IN

Alternatorfest?

no that last hole on trail 21 to be specific. Mine didnt like it either. I had to use Rev's little trick a couple times then it made it from linton all the way home without issue

Maybe, H.D. Offroad Engineering should offer a XJ alternator guard.

FlexXJ, you did very well for a first timer. Nothing to be ashamed of at all.

Just a few more

I don't think it's been mentioned yet but, Les took home the check.

It's like the Frankenspare, except this will be for CF only.

We'll keep a running tally on the back of it of who recieved the "award".

The "award" goes to the guy that had the most carnage. Brianho ripped out his CA mount in true CF fashion however, as we discussed at the park, FIRE trumps all.
Therefore, Wildman gets the trophy for a year.

Damn, I wish could have made it!

Glad you guys managed to have fun even without me there :D

It was a struggle John, but we managed.

Of course!

I only tried a sip or two as I was driving home. I think it was enjoyed by all.

Thanks again to Adam and Brian for dinner. Good stuff!

This one is awesome, thanks for all the kindling Byron, its awesome when you put it all on a hot fire.

It looks like you guys (and gals) had a great time!

It's nice seeing a few Oldheads around...Dennis, Les, John, you know who I'm talking about.

I'll be driving through the 'ole MWC in October, enroute to the NEC, hope to have a beer with you guys.

John

As long as it's not the beginning of October when I and a few others will be in Moab, I'd be glad to host another Brewfest if you'll be going through Chicago.

And I'm happy to see you made it back from Iraq in one piece, buddy!

Thanks Hale. I thought that to. I wanna thank all who helped me get through the obstacles. I am always up for getting pointers :D

Don't be afraid of the gas pedal!!!

You did a good job for a 1st timer. Now you know the basics of how to drive offroad, a skill you will keep for life.

That reminds me I need to check mine.
Started making noise on the rocks then stopped. Guess I will pull the belt this weekend and give her a spin. Nick
