Car painting

Any do any auto body painting around here or in the Bay area?

When we bought my wife's Murano it had a bunch of little scratches and the dealer said they would take care of it. Well long story short 5 years later and the paint looks like poo.

We would like to get the entire car painted but don't know any good places to go. In all reality the car will only last another 3-5 years. My wife's job requires her to travel a lot.

I've got nothing good to add but I can do a really mediocre job of painting with a rattle can. Go get 15 cans of Rustoleum Satin Black and let's have a party.

You can try The Works Autobody in Santa Clara or Connors Autobody in San Jose right by the air port.

Is 15 cans going to be enough? And at $8 or more a can you might get a better looking pant job for less from one of the cheeper shops.

a guy I work with has an Uncle that owns a autobody/paint shop.....he painted my buddies G35 and it looks saweeett!! i can shoot you the info if you want....

Well, if you can sand it a prep it decently, them maaco/earl sheib or whatever should last that long.

Don't know when or if this will ever happen, she drives 20,000 to 30,000 miles per year and I just want her to run the thing into the ground before we buy another one.
