Can't edit old threads

I'm logged in and would like to edit some old threads of mine. (I moved pictures in Photobucket and need to relink them). There is no Edit button on my threads though? Also where can I find my old posts/threads. Most forums give you that info but I can't find it here? I sent and email to tech support but never heard back.

Thanks,
Troy

That's correct. Due to problems in the past, post edit times are short, and that's not going to change.

Click on your username in a post, select "find all posts". Or, use the advanced search. There are multiple ways to find your old posts.

Ah thanks I can find my threads now but you're saying I can't fix the broken links in them now for other users?

Curious, what kind of problems have occurred in the past?

FWIW, as someone who puts a great deal of effort and specificity into a build thread, the inability to edit is hugely frustrating. From feeling dumb over misspellings, to trying to avoid misinformation when you learn something after the fact, I strongly prefer the edit-able version.

Not that it'll change your mind but 0.02 from a member trying to invest in the community.

Just a thought, but it seems the greatest potential for abuse comes from the classifieds section, so I can understand if those need to stay locked down. I would prefer if the rest of it could be a bit more open.

100% agree. I found some errors in my build thread after spending much time posting it but can't make edits..
