Can you be pulled over for no front license plate?

Not exactly true. IL doesn't require a motorcycle helmet but if you ride into MO without a helmet they will/may ticket you.

i don't believe that IL troopers have jurisdiction over MO laws.. although that specific helmet law may have had a requirement in it to maintain compliance with adjacent states as well.. but in general officers will never have such a broad jurisdiction unless they are Federal officers.. who, by the way, cant enforce state laws....

I've also heard that even though in Indiana front plates aren't required, it is illegal to back your vehicle into a parking spot.

is it illegal to do that is most states w/o front plates? i know i got points taken off my driving test cause i pulled through the parking space. when i first got my car i drove to work w/o plates on and backed it in even tho im supposed to have a front plate

Update: Got pulled over sunday night for speeding...gave me a warning...didn't notice/care about the missing front plate.

I got pulled over yesterday on my way to lunch for driving with no seatbelt ... the cop GAVE me a ticket, but didn't care about the front plate missing.

That was a $100 quesadillas.
