Can I borrow your pictures?

RDM Off-Road did this for their t-shirt and it seemed to work well.

I'm looking for amateur photos (must be taken by you) of Jeeps in action, trail rides, jeep beach, things like that. We'd like to use them in our 2011 product catalog. My alternative is to buy boring stock photos, which I don't really personally like. I thought things coming from real Jeepers would be much more interesting when you guys are looking through the book.

I need them in the biggest original format you have as we're printing at 300dpi CMYK and the picture size is around 8 inches wide.

Send me what your best shots. I'd like to offer a hat and shirt to any that I use, and a "photo by (your name)" credit on the photo used.

Send photos to me by email jason at warriorproducts.com

Be careful with who you have print your shirts. Apparently, a shot I allowed to be used on a t-shirt for an event got taken by the printer, and used on the shirts for EJS a couple of years ago.

dude that's super shady, I hope you pursued that.

pretty easy to win that lawsuit if you can prove its your picture Jeff.

I'll see what I can dig up of the ol deathtrap Jason, cool of you guys to do it this way! really gets the customer involved instead of seeming like some big corporate machine.

Check your e-mail Jason. I just sent 2 of my Jeep with shots of the Warrior front bumper.

Cool idea. Look forward to the catalogue even if I am not in it!!

Sadly, I don't either. But I may be able to shoop in some stickers or even a bumper if I have a shot of my rig from the right angle :D

Warrior is much too small a company to be a big corporate machine.

if i had a warrior product on my jeep i'd send pics, but i dont =/

Only a few of the shots we ended up using for this had any Warrior parts in the photos.

When is the catalogue coming out? I hope that you found one of my interesting enough to use!

Nothing, Ryan. I haven't heard back from the folks who originally talked to the printers.

I'd *REALLY* like to talk to the folks who arranged the printing first. For all I know, the printer may believe they have a full release. For that matter, if they swiped the image anyway, I wouldn't put it past them to claim it anyway and possibly falsify one.

Chances of that happening are getting less likely. The member here who's wife took them to the printer left him awhile back and things are not great between them. My wife is friends with her. I will try again if you are still interested. It was pretty low of them to do it...release or not.
