Callalantee July 10-11

Thanks for the offer. No big deal. Busted an alloy 9" shaft. The bearing retainer I had for the spare had holes that were too small. Turns out they were in the wrong location too. We pretty much had the shaft done and except for the bearing retainer in 2 hours.

So just left it on the trialer and spotted/rode with xjtrailrider. Freaking poured and got soaked. But he did armorall with realatively no wheel spin and a little drama.

Also welder, but he wisely bypassed the waterfall.

I had a blast and the heep made it home albeit wounded!

The list of damage in order of severity:

Bent TRE
Bent draglink
Smashed cat against the floor board which melted my carpet on the way home (I thought I was going to be a 70mph inferno, LOL!)
Smashed the flowmaster 40 and split the connector pipe between the cat and muff
Bent the engine skid...oh-well!
Flattened both frame rails just in front of the front spring hangers, time to plate!
Dropped hard on both drop brackets multiple times but no damage to report there
Idiot brake light is on and won't go off, gotta look into that!
Both rear doors where shaken out of adjustment and had 1/2" air gaps above the door, made for a noisy ride home!! Already fixed those
Both rear quarters are smashed...no big deal
I overheated on "armor-all" at the big log and the engine shut down. Got it refired and turned it around and went out the second pop-out. Thats a gnarly climb by its self!
I hit hard on the Logans bumper and shoved it over and up but did not bend it.
Ground the wheels good on some rocks but no dents.

My winch works!!

Made the run home with a ill handling Heep and a "smokey" cabin but made it just fine otherwise.

Yea that waterfall is wicked. I so wish I could have been there. WE have to get together there for a big ride.
