It depends on the bellypan. If you have our old one-piece pan then yes you have to change it out. If you have our new one, you unbolt the t-case skid and add the new BP and rear crossmember. For those of you who have the old bellypan we are planning on offering you a credit towards the upgrade.

Yeah a credi would be nice, especially considering I bought my "old" style pan less than a year ago.

The rear upper and lower shock mounts. Seems it would put the shocks in less of a bind rotating the uppers 180 degrees (Just like you have your front shock mounts) so that the shock can pivot right/left rather than front/back, and keep the lowers on a standard shock stud.

My jks front shock conversions are situated like the rears,and opposite to how his fronts are, I just followed the supplied directions upon my own install, what is correct?

My rear shocks on my CJ were like that positioned in the bassackwards way. After only a years worth of abuse the bushings in the shocks were toast...................it wasn't until I changed the mounts around at the top and bottom to be more natural when flexing out the axle that I stopped that effect and saved my bushings.

I can not believe Rodimus you just said; "They are mounted this way in ZJ, WJ and JK's." ...............like the very nature on what you do is alter OE configuration. Don't put rear coils on it because it came with leaf springs dude!

LOL! Look at it this way though, if we flipped the mounts around they would be sitting at an even great angle then they do at full stuff and droop unless we angled the upper mount and angled that axle mount which means it would hang below the axle tube and get beat up on everything. Bushings are cheap, I can handle killing a few! Please don't hate me because I don't care about bushings.

It's all designed around the same setup except we use LJ arms because of the wheelbase.

Thats a good question. I'd really only want the frame side arm mount and axle truss. I already have a plenty beefy belly pan and I can make the frame-side spring/shock mounts myself. I'd want the arm setup because it saves me a lot of math and figuring out of arm angles and seperation.

The rear xmbr has to be tied into the rest of the BP for strength. Claytons might be made to work with our standard non-Y-Link BP. I need to look at how their uppers mount.

The two holes you see go through the body and then the seatbelt mount gets drilled between them.
