Where is everyone placing their bump stops? I have seen alot of people run them where the stock ones are. I was thinking if any of you have made custom mounts for them?
If you are going to race Jeepspeed, rules state they must be in the stock location. There really isn't any other place to put them without some serious fab work.
Nope, wont be racing.. at least not anytime soon, this is just a little project pre-runner for me. i guess i will do some more research and figure out how to mount them through the stock location.
cant you just place them on the bottom side of the stock one? (like the RE bump stops?) I did mine this way and it took about 2 minutes to put them on (once spring is out)

Here's how mine was set up before I did the coilovers:
After the coilovers I ran out of time, money, and space to do the airbumps again. I moved them to the rear and used these shaft bumps on the shocks instead:
Honestly I've been so impressed with them that I've put off indefinitely any plans to get the airbumps back up front again. Spring rates are 300/350 and I've got it set up to be very progressive with the shaft bump engagement...after well over 100 miles out at JV and about the same amount racing here on the east coast I've yet to get it to bottom hard.
