So I take it your not happy with the addition of the tail pipe? I have been thinking about adding one onto ours but think I'm gonna leave it the way it is.

I'm happy the noise isn't right under my back seat, and the hot exhaust isn't blowing on my axle, and that it's a bit qiueter, and maybe it sounds the same but I hear it differently.

I'm not going back to a turn down.

That was my thought was that it would get rid of the amount of noise in the cab and the droning going down the road.

The droning is reduced. There's only so much you can do without a cat. My red jeep is louder than I want and it has a quiet muffler, with no cat.

Flowmasters have better sound than a thrush is the issue.

I agree with you on the saving a penny on a part Dan. So far i like our thrush on our jeep. And it cost way less than a flowmaster.
