broken track bar bolt

And get the *HARDEST* bolt you can.

I think I may have a couple of stock trackbar bolts and the staked bracket in the garage that I won't ever use. Let me know if you need a set.

Yeah, that bolt is a goofy metric.

1.50 mm thread pitch

Shank is 9.92 mm or 25/64" - but a standard 3/8" should work.

The lenght is 2 3/4" base of bolt head to the end.

So, a 2 3/4" x 3/8" (head will likely be 9/16" or 5/8") standard coarse thread (pipe) and matching nut should get it done. Get a pinching lock nut or nylock nut to keep things snug.

So it sounds like it's a 70mm M10x1.50 bolt?

Your new track bar does not come with one?

Nope... (RE Adj)

And I dont have a welder, so I'd have to have a buddy do it for me.

Yucca thats it, I remember now that the dealership told me the size, but I brushed it off b/c i thought I was getting a new one with the new track bar.

Anyone want to sell me an extra ;)? Honestly, if it comes down to it, all i need is the nut...

Thanks for the offer ChiXJeff, but all i need is the nut and bolt

Have your buddy weld up a nut with a tab on it, It'll make your life much easier. I had to do that same thing when I fabbed the trackbar for my dodge ram. It's like having a permanent wrench on the nut and makes removing it so much easier.

Uh, that's what I'm offering......

oh i thought you were offering the stock track bar... :confused1 didnt read it correctly.

where are you located?

Also, does anyone know that the hell the little yellow plastic retainer is called? The one that connects the lower tranny hose to the radiator.

If you can wait for snail-mail to get there, I can send one Friday...If I have an address.

First post, WOO-HOO!!! Welcome aboard!

I X'd out you phone number because I'm funny that way.

Picked up three more of those fine sets at the JY yesterday. It seems that HVAC controls and fan assemblies were in demand because there were none to be found. If the House-O-Heeps had business cards, I could have passed out a few.
