Brand "New" XJ for sale

You would be amazed at how much people overpay for stuff. I've sold stuff on craigslist and eBay for way more than it's worth.

I bet this guy could get at least 25k for that Jeep.

^^^ exactly. He's pricing it above what he wants, because unless he can get a bidding war started (ha, not happening) he's not going to have anyone offering more than he asks. Same way you sell stuff on craigslist / ebay (or best offer, not buy-it-now or auction) / at flea markets.

I'm sorry but I'll build you a Cherokee in any stock formation you want for less then $30k maybe even build a lifted XJ from scratch without hitting max.

:scared: PT Barnum was right.

Yes but it wont be a 10 mile "brand new" XJ. No matter what you can build or slap together for 30k.

There is someone out there that will pay high $$ for this. 30k? Maybe not...but WAY more than its worth in flat out value.

Just recently, there was a 3rd gen Camaro pulled out of a trailer. I believe it was an 85 IrocZ. LG4 305 carbed motor, 5spd...nothing special. HOWEVER it had 4.3 miles on it. Was never dealer prepped. That means plastic on everything, spoilers not installed, dealer packages and stickers still in the boxes. Was purchased, and put away. Really quite interesting to watch the process of finding it and cleaning it up. That thing brought WAY more than a low mile fairly nice Iroc brings. Because someone had the money to blow and wanted it.

Ide LOVE to have a brand new XJ. If I had money sittin around in stacks Ide take it. That'd be sweet!

J.

c'mon, you can't honestly make that comparison. a stock Cherokee is no Camaro.

Sure I can. Because with a 10 mile Xj and a 4 mile Camaro, you have to ignore the actual item and look at it as a special interest. Is a 4.3 mile camaro really worth anymore than average price? No not really... But to someone that wants to collect it, or display it, it might be. Same with this XJ. Someone that wants a very new XJ with hardly any miles wont see it as just an XJ...

My point was...the camaro was nothing special. It wasnt a TPI model, or a 350. But the preservation and low miles made it something special...to someone out there. The XJ isnt really a "collectable"...but its still a perfectly preserved vehicle that is no longer in production. Gives it a little something.

Anything that is a one off/rare find is always worth a little something extra.

I have here... a one-off, perfectly preserved ball of bellybutton lint. There will never be another one like it. It is truly one of its kind, unique in every way.

Yours for only $100

Um..

wow, we're not comparing comaros to XJs anymore. We're comparing them both to naval lint. I love it
