i was wondering if anyone has bought pads and rotors for their xj recently that has the warranty info? i bought new pads, rotors, calipers, lines, and all new u-joints for my jeep back around dec or jan on 2 different trips in the same day . i have a prob with one of the rotors and pads cause of the rotor i got and cant get them replaced cause the only info they have on me is for my calipers. but everything else i got that day some how isnt in the system and they cant help me with warranty. im askin for the warranty info so i can get mine changed out. i know itsnot that expensive but i cant stand paying for somethin twice when its notmy fault plus im kinda in a bind right now. btw mine is a 90 limited with abs, 4.0, 4x4, aw4

They did the same thing to my dad with a battery two weeks ago. Autozone said we have no recorded of you. My parents have had the same number for 20 years. They are never my first choice. We went across the street and bought a battery from another parts store.

Never go to Vatozone. The guys in the green shirts are better.

lol

I used to always go to O'Reilly, but the last couple times I went in there it was a bunch of dumb kids working. There used to be some really knowledgeable old farts working in there, and I enjoyed going there. Now I go to Advanced Auto Parts, there is one like 2 blocks from my house, and the people I deal with there always know what I am talking about.

It seems to be hit or miss here - I like going to NAPA when I see the one guy's CJ-5 sitting out in the parking lot - at least then I know I'll get to talk to someone who knows jeeps. Autozone here isn't terrible - I just don't like the quality of parts 90% of the time....and Checker just switched to O'Reilly and so I haven't had a chance to see if they changed for the better or worse.

For now, I'll go to NAPA or RockAuto.com :D

Well you can come down and see this old fart(well not that old only 32) we all know I know my Jeep stuff. We have a couple lazy kids at my place too but I am trying to fix that. It almost feels like I am baby sitting at times....It's what only a few hour drive....:jester:party1:party1::jester:
