on my 89 with 31" tires, i run plain old cast rotors but ive done the wj booster and master swap and the braking is a night and day difference over the stock booster. i dont think it would matter much what rotors you use if you have the weak single booster. i would rather spend the money on a dual diaphram booster and master than spend alot on rotors with a single diaphram booster.
slotted and crossed drilled are designed to help cool the rotor faster and vent gases from EXTREMELY hot brakes. Chances are you won't see a benefit unless you're towing a lot of weight or driving a racejeep.
