I have a '94 with ABS that I recently purchased (In other words, I don't know its history). When driving after it sits for an hour or more, the brake seems to be "over-boosted" and slightly pulls the brake pedal toward the floor faster than I've applied them. It causes a slightly quicker stop. After a couple of stops, it seems to work normally without this effect.
It's a very subtle issue, so my question is: Is this normal operation for these jeeps or do you think the brake booster is starting to go?
