okay and my 2 year old weighs in about 25 pounds... and thats normal... not overweight... so a 6 years old weighs how much? 40 lbs? i doubt it... just my opnion...

35-40 lbs is teh average weight for a 6 year old kid. The only thing that would make it not plausible is the weight of the craft itself. Depending on how they built it, it might be too heavy - but then, I just did some rough calculations, so there may have been more helium in it.

well they were trying to make a vehicle or craft of some sort so maybe... but i still doubt it.

Since the family members are armature storm chasers I assume the compartment was build to house weather instruments and transmitters. Now if all of that equipment was already installed into the balloon it would greatly hinder the ability of the balloon to take flight. Now this is all speculation and my last comment was just the first thing that popped into my mind as making it seem fishy. Not that it wouldn't be plausible.

Get it balloon…popped…man I kill myself.

I thought I heard someone say yesterday that there was supposed to be a platform that hung below the balloon. That balloon was obviously air-tight. Else, all the He would have went bye-bye.

You guys heard this is the same family on "Wife Swap" last season or maybe 2 season ago. They were actually on there 2 times! Saw on CNN HN that this family has had some "fishy" stuff go on with them over the years. He's a TV airtime pig. He's SOOOO Busted! I hope they hang him out to dry!
