BOTW pics...great trip!!

God, I hate to be on Dinkley's side, but it didn't work for me either the first time I clicked on it. It worked later that day though.

Nice pics, thanks for posting up guys. Wow, Jes that is some crazy flex you got there.

Thanks for the pics and the stories. It looks like quite a few of you are going with the XJ buggy thing.
Farmer Matt: Did you buggy your green/yellow XJ or is this another XJ that you created? Just wondering, I liked your white then green/yellow John Deere XJ. I'm a Packers fan so I guess I just like that color combo anyways. :laugh3: So is the John Deere tractor a CAT now???

The same with C-Rok, is this his rig or did he create another 1, a buggy? I know that both of you guys sell XJ stuff and wasn't sure if you created another vehicle because your primary XJ is used to prototype your products you guys sell. C-Rok his bumpers, cage, steering box plates. Matt your tail lights, roof rack etc. Just wondering.

Matt's CAT is a totally different rig. I believe there is a thread on it here someplace. CRocs rig is the same one he rolled in a hot tub in Moab. He just did some cutting on it. Jeff

Thanks for clearing that up Jeff. You were one of the WI guys to make the trip right? Hope you had fun.

NO!!!!!

He drove halfway across the country and wheeled his junk like no tomorrow and drove it back with a few side trips. He didn't have any fun at all!

OMG!

This is what happened to C-ROK's XJ. It's in the first hot tub usually called the Car Wash on the Hell's Revenge Trail during the 20th celebration of the XJ in Moab October 2003. When it finally came to rest it was 8 feet in front of me. It litterally shook the ground.

Enjoyed looking at all the PICS. Some very well prepped Jeeps.

Any idea what led to the failure of the AlloyUSA shaft in Led's Jeep? I just installed some of those, thinking they would never fail.

Led's huge IQ was just too over powering.

least I was smart enough to bring an enclosed Jeep.... Got windows
I'll agree with Goatman and Jes...AlloyUSA has been real easy to deal with so far other than telling me I need a 60,duh, and the fact the 44 shafts are on back order.I did pull the DR side after I got back and it was fine.

I seem to recall a conversation during BOTW about your 44 being more of a concern than you 30 on 37's

Dana 30's are indestructible. No reason to go bigger.

CRASH

P.S. Paul, are you on an every-other-weekend ring and pinion replacement schedule yet? You really should look into that for preventative maintenance purposes.

How come no one has talked about cross drilling them or just breaking every other tooth off to begin with. Paul could be the first.
