Board blockers.

Is there a way I can block a board like a I can a user? I like using the "view new posts" button. But I hate all the BS I get from Shawna or that trailer trash Dumpsterd Divers Den board.

I don't feel that I should have to censor if I have kids in the house. But since I have to I'd like to be able to block that board when I need to to prevent accidental exposure.

Unfortunately, that is not currently possible.
The next release of the software looks like it will be out soon (in the month of November sometime). It is more flexible as far as that is concerned.
Also, Shawna will be going away. Some will be sad, some will be happy. Either way, the code that makes it work will not be functional with the new release.

That being said, I can understand if you do not want to wait for the upgrade to take place. If you absolutely do NOT want to be able to see posts from the Bot or the "den" I can remove those viewing permissions from your account. That would also mean you cannot go in there even if you want to.

There is another way I can set it up with usergroups. It takes a bit more time, and was hoping to hold off until the upgrade. However, I will look in to trying to get that set up sooner. I think that will take care of the situation you describe, yet still function.

Glenn, there's no need to block from my account as of yet. I will have to step up my own precautions and change my viewing habits until that new release is out.

My wife Stephanie can be considered as the neighborhood nanny so kids do frequent my household.
