Blundstone boots?

I've been looking at getting a pair of these boots. They come very highly recommended, and they had been in business for a very long time.

Does anybody here have personal experience with these boots?

I'd like to get some real-world feed back before plopping down $140 without ever trying a pair on.

I've had the 510's for about 2 years. I love them and they've held up great. They are crazy expensive in the States (like 140 crazy). I got mine from Paradise Footwear in Brisbayne. The sizing is goofy so the store has you trace your feet and then fax it to them. I had my Blunnies in about a week. They are 74 bucks and 35 to ship.

The ones in the pic are the #490 "Bloke" model. Non steel toe. I have a thing for my feet, I'm on them for 8 to 18 hrs a day and long term durability and comfort has no price limit.

Gotcha...My buddy ordered a pair when I did and we split shipping. He loves them too. I don't know if you've tried the Keen line but I would do so before you order. I have 2 pairs of Keens and they rock. I can't speak for the durability of the Keen b/c I haven't had them that long but they are silly comfortable. I would probably say that they are more comfortable than the Blunnies. I

I have a problem with shoes. I'm worse than any woman I've ever dated. I can't explain it and I don't care if you make fun of me.

Ha Ha Ha! I heard ya, I have 13 pairs of shoes. My wife has 10. :gag:

The cheapest pair I have ARE my Keen's, but they are just the sandals and very conductive to the work enviroment. I'd say the average cost of my shoes is about $190 ea. with the highest being about $340. I know I'll just end up getting them anyway, and if they suck, then I'll send them back.

The unofficial count for me is 23 pairs of shoes. I had to throw some out when I made the move out here too. It's really sickening. I'm not proud of myself.
