Bluegrass

O.k I think everyone agrees live music and beer go together like milk and peanut butter. and if theres bag pipes involved, then that just sweetin's the deal.

Milk and peanut butter?
You make some strange sandwiches up there :D

Sorry, OT.

Bagpipes, Bluegrass.

Has anyone heard a record called "Black Forest Bluegrass" by "PDQ Bach"?
Now that's just not right...

I know this is going to sound sick, but breakfast is usually PB&J on toast, and a Coke.

Sorry, OT again.

Bluegrass, Celtic Music, Randy Travis, Cut off Kelvin Klines on Daisy Duke...

Randy Travis for sure, grey up here in NC, love his voice...

Anyone say milk? \|/

The Sirius bluegrass channel is on my favorites.

I don't know any of the names or the song names, I just dig it.

Bluegrass is literally all I listen to. I think it's gotten me out of a ticket or two, friendly southern kid with the windows down in my XJ listening to bluegrass :)
Lately all I've been listening to is Will The Circle Be Unbroken by The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Valley Road by Bruce Hornsby is some of the damned finest music I've heard in a while.
My entire family's been from the south since we immigrated to the US from Ukraine more than a few generations back.
I'm also a Drive-by Truckers fan. Everyone in this thread should listen to "Daddy's cup" by them, I think you'll like it.
Edit: And Copperhead Road by Steve Earle.

LMAO

Ask Keith Motorman about my music selections: He rode with me on the way up the hill to the pay station at Tellico, and I wanted to see how much fun he could stand... think chain-smoking with the windows up an the heat on full-cremate (even though it was like 75°) with old Warren Zevon blaring, doing my best Dukes of Hazzard/WRC full-throttle oversteer slides around blind mountiain corners. "It's a Fine day to die, aye mate?"

The next victim who dared ride with me that day got treated to my leprechaun music and Pantera.

I like bluegrass, metal, and lately been getting into scottish pipe & drum music. Can't take much rap or opera though. That shit'll make a man go crazy
Victim? Sounds like a fun ride to me(could do without the smoke though)!

I'm not a bluegrass fan per se, but the Wife and a bunch of our friends are into it. I like some of it, and cant believe nobody's mentioned Yonder yet.
Yonder Mountain String Band that is.

I am proud to say I am kin to Doc Watson.... and I love it
