blown XJ

as far as the hood clerence goes you could always go DSM style and put a hump in the hood
That wouldn't work on our XJs, and here's why.

- The Avenger supercharger will clear a Wrangler's hood without any body
mods, but it requires some serious cutting to an XJs hood for clearance. It
looks something like this:

- The kit Tayln posted requires a 1 to 1.5" body lift to clear the hood on a
Wrangler, so you can only imagine how much more it would poke through
an XJs hood. If you think an avenger system required allot of cutting than
brace yourself for this kit.

Hesco rocks my socks. Accurate Power was first in my book, but Hesco was a close second. Not sure I have ever seen a Hesco installed though.................:dunno:
I only have one picture of a Hesco Supercharger installed, and it's in a ZJ. I saw an incomplete unit for sale on ebay Christmas time
... it went for $1850.

Also, there was another company called SVI that made a supercharger for our Jeeps. It used a vortech supercharger at 7psi
with a Belltech adjustable fuel pressure regulator to increase injector pressure on boost for fuel enrichment, along with a
Crane ignition unit.
