Modified engine mounts to drop the engine 1 inch would have the same end result, and since xj's have a unibody the body lift is a no go.
Really? Learn something new every day around here.

Here's an example of an untuned rimmer set-up (@ 5lbs IIRC). The setup uses an M90 charger. How much horse would this produce @ 6lbs?
505 performance was working on a charger as well. It's build was similar to the first gen rimmer setup...
only it was coupled with larger injectors, map sensor bypass and a programmed ftc box tuned.
The set-up was good for 90-100hp.

505 Performance is awfully proud of their stuff and isn't too forthcoming on presales information.
Another reason just to put a stroker in it and call it a day!![]()
Your comments are logical, but where's the fun in that?Another reason just to put a stroker in it and call it a day!![]()
which one? the 505 unit?I was thinking of that supercharger on my stroker..![]()
The guy phased in and out of business a couple times. To my understanding, back in 95 he offered superchargers for Jeep 2.5L, 4.0L and 5.2L motors. He also offered a supercharger for the Landrover 4.0L V8, but I'm not sure when that happened.I've never heard of Rimmer?
