Blackberry Storm

I have the blackberry pearl and it has been great. However, my next phone will be an Iphone or a Palm Pre. My wife has the Iphone and it is way better than the pearl. Although, Verizon has better service.

Thoughts? Any actual users?

My wife has the Curve....she loves it and so do i. I currently have the LG Dare...BIG P.O.S...BIG! My company pays for mine and dosent want to come off the $$ for the data plan the blackberry requires. I can get the phone for like $40-50 but as you know they make there $$ on the monthly.

Later:cheers:

Just got mine yesterday. So far its cool but is a pain to type on. Ill get use to it in time. For another $50 get the tour. Same operating system but easier to use with a real keyboard. I sure do love the Internet at work now!

I love the storm, takes a lil bit to get used to. Once you get the hang of it, it is really a good phone. My only problem is that sometimes the screen would get stuck and i wouldn't be able to do anything with it. Overall it's a good phone, but I still think the iPhone is better.

x2 on the Tour. Mom got a Storm and I have an iPhone 3G. The storms ok, it would take alot of getting used to as its kinda confusing (to me) to navigate and find stuff on it. I havn't played with a Tour but the reviews are much better and the surepress screen is soso, they're launching the Storm 2 mid Oct. I believe so thats why the original is cheap now. I'd atleast wait for one of those, unless the price is the key.

My buddy has one. It's put up with his abuse so far, which is saying something. I used it, easy interface, I don't have any problems with touch screen typing. The browser is slower than an iPhone, but then again you don't have to change providers.

I have the curve. I had a pearl for a while but apparenlty all pearl's have issues, which my and anex had problems with. I don't like the screen typing thing, so I got the one I have now. One of those silicon outer covers and an invisishield (for the screen) and I haven't had a scratch yet on mine since Feb, and I'm usually real hard on phones. Wish I would have gotten the world edition for international travel but whateva. The iphone looks tempting but I have had verizon too long to leave them. They have the best service around the country.

I've used the Storm but I own the iPhone. I sat the two phones side by side and attempted to do the same things with them and the iPhone (with new software version) wins each time.

My advice, find someone that owns each one, and play with them.

My storm looks like a lightning storm! It has cracks running though the screen that look like a lightning bolts. So far it has yet to affect the operation of the phone. I've dropped it about 30 times too. It's heavy and thin and easily slips out of your hand.

it's a badass phone, but my buddy had one for a week or so, and it completely crapped out for no reason, and best buy couldn't get all his crap off it onto his new one that was covered on warranty
