Big Bear this weekend

Howdy,
Me and some buddies are going to be in Big Bear this weekend. Gonna wheel Holcomb on Saturday and John bull on Sunday and camping at Heart Bar. drive home on Moday. We plan on taking 5 to 58 to 395 and so on. Gonna avoid driving through L.A.

We ran john Bull last year and had a blast. I just wanted to see if there was anything we should know about Holcomb or the area in general. Any road closures, snow anything like that we need to be aware of?

Any heads up / recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

BTW - Let me know if any of you are going to be out there, maybe we can meet up. A guide through thte trails would be kinda cool.

Nice. Not sure what time we are heading out. Probably no later than 10ish. We are going to be on CB chanel 28. Im me if you want me cell #. I think we got reception there last time.

Bent - Thanks for the link. I checked it out yesterday and being the map tard that I am I wasn't sure if any of the highway/road closures would effect our trip. It doesn't appear to. You gonna be around that weekend? Would be cool to see you again.

I might be down to go if I can resolve a power steering issue I have been waiting to test everything I've recently put on. Also I'm from highland so I'm close to home I think I'm doing business with a guy who's goin named Ricky if he's a buddy of yours so but ya I just need to figure out if my pump is bad or if my front locker is disenguaging or not cause maybey that's causing too much stress on the pump

We will be down that way from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. Probably leaving around 10 am.

Sure. My group will have 2 TJ's, both with 3.5" of lift and 33's. One Open and One Locked. A Ford Ranger with 8" on 35's and locked in the rear and I will have the Silver XJ with 4.5" of lift on 33's with LS in the rear.

Don't know your names but mine is Mark. What CB Chanel would you guys like to use for Sunday? 28?

Turning out to be a nice group for Sunday's run :yelclap:

We are running Holcomb on Saturday anyone interested? first time on it and having someone there who has run it before would be cool.

Hey man I type out my posts from my blackberry! I also thinked I figure out my steering issue I think my dana 30 lock rite isn't unlocking and if I can figure out why u think it will be smooth again. Stret drivin with swampers and a front spool kills steering pumps.
