I told you it wasn't bad.

Yep, you did... It's just sometimes hard to interpret some people's perception of "Easy" or "Not Bad"... I will not question you again Kyung.. :worship:

Now, I must have missed the bitch making session.. :scared:

As promised, here's is my "report" for the weekend:

After finally getting to leave on Friday, we arrived in BB around 11:00, checked into the hotel, then headed over to the cabin. What a nice place! We put the food in the fridge and hung out until about 1:00.

Cabin:

We all met at the Discovery Center and divided the group. About 7 rigs went to Deep Creek & Holcomb Creek and the other 12 or so went to Gold Mountain & Jacoby Canyon.

The GM run was great. Everyone did a great job. This was the first time we had Odette's TJ off-road since we built it. It performed well. Odette surprised me with soem of the lines she picked. She blew me away considering she has only driven my XJ offroad 2 other times, for all of about 1 hour each time.
Here she is with the Jeep and a few in the rock garden:

We had lunch and finished GM, then we headed to Jacob Canyon. JC is an easy trail with nice scenery. If we had some rain this past year, there would have been a couple of good water crossings, but we only found a couple of puddles.
We did see a rabid squirrel getting a nut:

After the trails, it was hot and dusty so we headed back to cabin. Soem folks showered, napped, chilled, hit the spa, and worked on a powersteering pump (not carnage).

This pic is one of the reasons we had this party in honor opf Mike:

Always helping people.....

Folks seemed to enjoy themselves.

We will have to do this again!!

The party was fantastic! Several folks drank LOTS!! I cooked a hell of alot of meat. Good thing there were no vegiterians there!! We went through over 20 lbs of tri-tip, 30 hamburgers, 20 pieces of chicken (drumsticks), and dozen hot dogs. There was also chips, salsa, potato salad, veggies, cake, cookies, and muffins. Odette & I made some pretty tastey punch, over 3 gallons. Less than 1/2 was remaining. I think Krakers' better half drank most of that... We also went through a couple bottles of Captains, vodka, 3 bottels of rum, and I don;t know how mch beer...

Thanks to Opie for taking the trash to dump site. I think we took out about 4 bags of bottles, plastic, and cans and 6 bags of regular trash...

I would make a list of folks that attended, but that would just make this post even longer...

Hope you enjoyed your party Mike!

Thanks to everyone!

Yeah, thanks for everything Robert.
Great, fun turnout. Wheeling was awesome & it was cool to hang out for a while at the party after, even though we rolled in late.

Damn, I KNEW that the pictures would look misleading. I was actually pulling the Range Rover backwards uphill for about 200 feet to a clearing. You guys will back me up on this, right? Right? :)
