So in order to be a pest and deter any goons from coming which will ruin the relaxing trip being planned, I give you the longest post in this thread:
1. BE BEAR AWARE. If you leave your crap around, I'll put it in your car overnight for you...messy and all, so that the bears head to it. Responsibility is everyone's job.
Any kind of bear container or way to keep food out of reach for bears is REQUIRED. After talking to a few people, there have been a few bear sightings lately so we want to reduce our risk of a busted vehicle.
Minimum Equipment Requirements for HARD Trail Run (aka

event requirements, so follow them

)
1: Visibly charged fire extinguisher (BC or ABC type)
2: First Aid Kit
3: Adequate spare tire, jack, and lug wrench*.
4: Safety belts for driver and all passengers.
5: Adequate tow points. Must be of OEM or greater integrity (no three bolt cheap brackets), d-rings, shackels, etc are all good as long as the hook or bumper brackets meet or exceed the OEM kit.
Welded tow hooks are not allowed.
6: Snatch strap without metal hooks.
7: Battery
must be properly secured.

Rule 3 may be waived at trail leaders discretion.

1. Seatbelts for driver and passengers
2. Adequate spare tire, jack, and lug wrench

Safety Rules
Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol is not permitted.
Safety belt use is mandatory.
Pets should be well-behaved or secured.
Do not exceed the maximum speed limit on all roads, public or private.
Suggested Equipment
In addition to the above list of required equipment the following equipment is recommended when out on the trail:
CB Radio
Extra food & water in vehicle
Flashlights in vehicle
Blanket or sleeping bag in vehicle
PS: If you DO NOT have the required equipment, it is up to the the trail leader to let you join.
