Big Bear in August

We don't have a SET list of trails yet, but I'll talk to Max (Webdog) and we can decide something. He might be trail leader (if he doesn't mind) due his previous experience on these trails.

Max, do you mind if I put you in charge of the trail runs?

That is fine with me.

Once we get to BB I will try to contact Sean (yota guy) and see if they know what they are doing, if not we will just go on our own...

But I would like to do dishpan and JB if possible.

Also, I found my SWR meter. So if anyone wants to tune there CB we can do it Friday night in camp.

======================

I've extended the invite to a couple folks in the SoCalXJ group, not sure if any will show yet.

My cell is six19 six54 nine758 (text works best sometimes in spotty signal areas, as it all comes thru at once. Nothing is much more frustrating than getting an alert that you have voicemail, but not enough steady signal to call & retrieve it! )

I plan to lounge and do easy stuff, just enjoy myself & the scenery. I do not have anything bearproof, so hopefully just having mostly dry goods, and them in my Jeep, will be enough. Not sure if it'd be better to leave 70lb Eddie in the Jeep to sleep (his preferred spot) or put him in the tent with me... Hmmm.

ok boys and "girl" tomorrow is the big day... we all packed ready to run ???
