Well, it was a great time. We had 6 vehicles - only one from

(Skwerly). Matty and Kyung was unable to make it due to mechanical issues on Matty's rig.
Our vehicles - 2 XJ's, 1 J, 1 TJ Unlimited, 1 F150 extra cab, & 1 FSJ
The group made it to the trail head abou 10:20. LOTS of motorcyles on the trail, but no other traffic. This was my wife's 2nd time out in her Jeep. She did great! She got alot of air at the top of the waterfall, she took the by-pass. She it scared her, but was an awesome adrenaline rush!
The group had no issues, except for one - SKWERLY!!!! See pics:

It was a loud POP! I said I think you broke something, we looked and did not imeediately see anything. I headed up the waterfall, then a few minutes later, Skwerly says he did break the u-joint. He drove it off of the trail. My buddy Kevin and a few of us removed the drivers axle shaft, stuffed a rag in the tube, and bolted it back up.
Odette and I ran out of time and could not run Holcomb Creek. We had to get back to Torrance to pick up our son. Skwerly was heading home early as well. My buddies ran Holcomb with no issues.
Here are a few pics. I will upload the rest from home tonight.
THe top of the waterfall is not as bad since folks stacked a few rocks in there:
We will be doing an adventure run in Big Bear soon. This means running trails we (I) have never run, but read about. I will be lookign for a coupel of folks to plan thsi with. here are not alot of difficult trails up there, but there are some beatiful areas that I have not wheeled yet.
