Better off-road Baja Claw TTC or KM2?

Ok, so what I'm getting is that the TTC Claw sucks, and if that is the case then why do people use them in the Top Truck Challenge rather than just using some type of Super Swampers?

YUP!

If you aren't driving on the road much why on earth are eather of those on your list of tires to buy... A 34" LTB would be the cats meow on a little tired trail rig, or the new MTR kevlar... Which is hands down the best radial off road. Or the SX... Kinda wide but awsome tire too. All of the TSL line up will out perform eather of those tires... (no the Thornturd and SSR don't fit in the TSL line up as far as I am conserned).

My point being there are a lot of tires in that size that perform better offroad than the KM2 or claw...
(almost all tires are better than a claw) hasta

x2.. except i hate the km2 more then the claw:gonnablow

There's alot of things that fit the "thinner the better" catagory.. Condoms, white chicks.. etc etc But sidewalls are not one of them:shhh:

I totally agree with using TSL line up, originally looked at the LTB but correct me if I'm wrong, the tread pattern on the 34" is different than the 35"? Sidewall sidebitters are different design? SX will not fit my wheels, way to wide.

Yes, the 35 is more aggressive. but the 34 is a bad SOB.

Of the two, which is more aggresive, 33" TSL bias or 34" LTB? Thanks for you advice, and by the way, I checked out your bumpers and I will be getting one in the future!

Have you considered the goodyear MTR/kevlar?

Ive had both km2s and mtrs in 33s, i like the MTRs much better in all conditions. Hands down. I now run 35 MTRs, but i have yet to wheel them.

I love my Kevlars, I just hope Nealio doesn't yell at me for straying from the two tire choice...;) My Kevlars are quiet on road and haven't failed me off road. My off-road consists of sand, dry rocks and occasional mud. I will say though, winching an Avalanche stuck up to its frame/axle in mud, my Jeep didn't move at all. Last time I tried winching something big out of the mud, I had Pro Comp MTs and had to be anchored to another truck to keep from sliding into the hole.

I'll agree with everyone about the MTR. As soon as my 37" Krawlers wear out my crawler will be getting fitted with a set. I would say that the MTR is just a little better than the LTB too. Not a tone, but its a radial so the carcass wraps around bolders and such better. The LTB will be tougher and able to run lower pressures... but the traction given by the tread design/compound is not as good as the MTRK.
