Bet you never seen one like this before!

Have you checked the length of the cylinder bore for cavitation or cracks? I noticed in the photos the cylinder in question is at the top of the bore. Move that piston down and check that out.

Cast steel heads don't generally hide cracks well but I've seen some that don't show without magna flux inspection. We had an '84 Skyhawk that when cold would run great but at temp would missfire in one cylinder and presented no evidence of spark quench. Took the head in to be milled and the shop found a crack in the narrow area between the intake and exhaust valves.

Just to be clear I did tell him that the motor had issues!
I didnt ever see oil in the coolant but did see some milky(assumed it was coolant) in the oil

And I did have to put coolant in on a pretty regular basis.

I dont know a dang thing about engines so i cant be any help other than telling ya what it was doing.

He's talking about the coolant passages. Is there a film of oil or grunge in the cooling system, residue on the radiator cap seal?

Take the spark plugs out, clean the combustion chambers with a cup brush. Be careful to not wire brush the valve seats. Check the area between the valve seats for hairline cracks. It doesn't take much of a crack to start pumping coolant into the cylinder, or compression into the cooling system.

I'll look into both of these and let you all know.

No worries, I knew the motor had issues :D
