try 89 ford 3/4 ton truck axles they work well!
also you could use a ford 9" which doesnt require as much trimming... they are both huge axles and you need to cut them down to size or you will have a ton of rub..
Well, this is for my 73 k20. It has a 14 bolt out back right now, and a 44 up front running 35's, sooon to be 37's. So I'd like to get all 1 ton running gear.

73-87 will work great, but 88-91 will work just as well just make sure it is a 1 ton and not a 3/4 ton. Some times it is cheaper to buy the whole truck than to look for axles. I paid 1200.00 for my running 88 crew cab 1 ton with lockers f&r and new brakes and wheel bearing seals.
