I've had my IRO trac bar for about a year now. Zero complaints, great bang for the buck. I'm sure there are other good options out there too
Sorry I had to bring this back up, it made me laugh. Yes I am an informercial. :yelclap: No, RE's joint is not as tough as a johnny joint, RE does not use a larger size bolt like clayton offers, and RE does not use a factory style lower bushing. They use a crappy poly bushing that wears out very quickly, far from the quality of even the stock clevite style bushing. I have used Claytons & Rubicon express trackbars, my RE trackbar needed attention quite frequently. I have never touched my clayton trackbar ever, I do grease it though.Far superior? Are you an infomercial ? RE's cartridge is as tough as a JJ, they use the factory style lower bushing and a larger bolt too.![]()
and RE does not use a factory style lower bushing.
but the superflex joint constantly needs tightening now and the plastic races inside need replacing.
Is anyone running the IRO Double Shear setup? I've been thinking of switching to this and some real world advice would be cool.
I do not have that much lift, nor plan to. But JeeperJohn does custom fab. And can hook you up. You will most likely need/want a raised axle side trackbar mount and possibly extended frame mount. What are you guys running with a XJ with 9" lift in the front? That is the problem I am having. All of the mentioned ones stop at around 8" according to thier websites
why the hell would you need 8-9 inches of lift? with that much of a lift it sounds like a rollover waiting to happen! What are you guys running with a XJ with 9" lift in the front? That is the problem I am having. All of the mentioned ones stop at around 8" according to thier websites
"double shear"?
