Best tires in C/S

I need a new set of tires. Wanting some BFG's.
Where is the best place to get a set in Colorado Springs?
I went to Big O today and got sticker shock...will take several beers to calm down now. They wanted $169 per tire!

Sounds like you're looking for 33" BFGs? That's pretty normal pricing unfortunately. Look at Costco, Sam's Club, and hit some of the online places for pricing. Brickfront stores like Discount will often match other pricing including many online stores - if ya schmooze it right you can get a mount-n-balance free outta the deal.

FWIW, I dumped BFG Muds in favor of Cooper Discover STT's.
Better off, road, tougher sidewalls, and quieter on the pavement.

Tire World on Platte and Palmer Park.

My past experience with Cooper has been very BAD. I've had 2 blow-outs with Cooper tires on a Dodge Caravan. And for the record; 1 blow-out with a Firestone tire. Goodyears wear unevenly. As a patriot, I'd like to give domestic brands first shot, but the choices are dwindeling.
Actually, I was going with something smaller than 33's as my XJ is not lifted (yet).

well if not in a hurry there's always high-tec retreads at like 85 or so each. Planning to order some 31's myself.
