Best Spark plug wires?

I have always used Taylor wires as they are spiral wound inner core wire. They are kinda expensive, but are very well made.

I ran Jacobs for the first 2 or 3 years I owned my XJ, then one of the electrodes stayed on the plug when I pulled it off one day. Ditched those and got Magnecor, been running those for about 5 years and no problems so far.

This never made sense to me. Why run the same set of plug wires for years and years? Because you paid big bucks for them?

I buy semi cheap plugs and wires but change them at least once a year. To me it seems than running the same set for years and years.

Have used MSD Superconductor 8mm wires for 6 years now and previously used Jacobs.... The MSD are far superior in quality and suppression and are still going strong....

Get a tube of dielectric grease, spread it liberally around the inside of the boot before putting it on the spark plug or the terminal at the distributor cap. It helps seal out water, but more importantly it prevents the silicone boot from glueing itself to the spark plug insulator.

I've never had a boot come apart or stick since I started using dielectric grease during a tune up.

TAylor wires are great. I have used them on most of my vehicles for about 7 years now. The MSD wires are great too but Taylors are usually less then half the price and are just as good. I have not had good experiences with the Accels, they tend to break too easy. As for Bosch and the other cheaper auto parts store brands, I wont even use them to replace a wire on my lawn tractor. They are just about worthless, they break easily, dry out fast and in general they hate chemicals being spilled or oversprayed on them.

Wheredo you guys get your Mopar Performance plug wires? Do you have to go to the stealership or can you get them online, etc?

... same question. What's the best place to buy them, and what's the part number? Has anyone seen them at Napa kragen or autozone?
