Personally, I would not cut out the rockers and replace them with box unless you're tieing them(welding) into something more than just the sheet metal.

you'd be amazed how stout they are, yes it's to sheet metal, but it's almost 5' of sheet metal plus the 5' of pinch seam. when I rolled my jeep I landed on a rock that dinged my tubing but didn't move it at all, it's strong, trust me.

now my cage is welded directly to my 'rockers', but now they are also firmly tied into the frame, lower controll arm mount and the front leaf spring mount, nothing's moving.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I am no welding guru so I need bolt-ons but will definitely look at all the brands mentioned. Does anyone have a link to find the Rock Ratz stuff mentioned, I haven't been able to locate them.
