Best place to camp...

If it wasn't for the 2 wheel drive I'd say Monache(sp?) meadows by Kennedy Meadows, but I don't think the 2by truck could get back up the hill with out help on a tow strap.

My buddy's 2wd Tundra made it in and out last year, fully loaded down with gear and 2 adults and 3 kids on board. To be fair, he is one heck of a driver and doesn't care about pinstripping. We did have one spot on the way out where the group of FJs ahead of us had dug a rut and he had to back out and readjust his line, but other than that it wasn't bad..

Here's a couple pics I found on the net of Hanna Flat that are a good representation of the place. :)

Yes, the road is graded but it's all turns and stuff around the campground itself. I mean, they aren't hair pin turns really, but they aren't real, real wide, either. But it's a campground, and it's set up for stuff like that, so I'm sure it's doable.

Getting to the campground will be easy.
