As social media becomes a bigger and bigger part of how we communicate and interact with each other it's become pretty obvious to me that NAXJA needs to use that resource to show the XJ world who we are and what we offer. The problem is there are so many good tech articles, trip reports and photo threads it's hard to know what to post. So I'm asking you guys. What's your favorite Xj specific (or MJ) thread here? No tard wars or friend of the day threads. Just good build threads or other write ups of that kind. Post links here.
 
I think what Ryan is looking for are Positive threads, ones that he can showcase on other media to show what an outstanding Club NAXJA is.

I don't know. The Club allowed the Uharrie (Spelling?) folks a place on our Forum for organization when they got kicked off their last site.

Every year, Members and Non-Members alike attend TFT Events all over the country.

Quite a bit of socialization was done through the chat. I was nice to be able to converse with members on a daily basis, whereas you might only see them in person a handful of times a year.

I guess the question is: what direction do we want to go in as a club?

There have been statements in the past about the quality of membership declining. It is my opinion that giving the club more exposure to "social media" will only exacerbate this. Check out Xj/MJ proud if you need examples.

Just trying to understand what direction/goals,leadership has in mind for the coming year.
 
I think you have missed the whole point of this thread. I am looking for previous threads...just threads that we can post around the net that might make us look appealing to the FB junkies.

I'm not asking for ideas to make NAXJA better or asking how we can fix broken chat programs. I'm simply looking for good stories, build threads, trail reports, tech write ups.

I wouldn't think this would be that hard of a concept to grasp. If you feel something is broke, bring it up in it's own thread please.
