Not just any color, but the body tech's favorite color to apply. :thumbup: It has the transmission and transfer case I want. The bottom side has been oiled well enough that there is no rust perforation.

The guy accepted my offer, he still has to transfer the title to his name. Turns out he bought this from a relative and has been riding out the time left on their registration. :banghead:

As a side note, my bud was talking to another XJ owner, who has a two door that will be missing an engine in the near future. I'll be able to look at that on Wednesday.

It will most likely replace my four door. Build-wise, that means it has to take me everywhere I want to go, and home again.

A rust-free unibody will definitely get me off the fence about welding those nice Hooligan stiffeners to it.

1) No more door envy.
2) Gas gauge says full.
3) Leaks too much oil for the underside to rust.
4) Battery holds a charge, started after being parked for six weeks.
