The tires on the rig are 42" iroks. If you buy this rig, he'll throw in the 37" tires and rims for free.It doesn't look that big - until you read the ad and find that those tires are 37's!
Yeah, we don't have those laws out here. No fender laws either. But at least he didn't have to trim his precious sheetmetal or plastic trim much!
Lifts that tall are why we have lift laws around here. Sheesh.
On one hand that's pretty awesome because you can get away with a lot more mods/capability on a jeep, but on the other hand it means hackjobs like that roam the public roads. I'm conflicted.Yeah, we don't have those laws out here. No fender laws either.
We do too have those laws here, we also have laws that state you can't modify a vehicles suspension outside of factory parameters except to make it safer to tow with. Along with that there are laws that specify how high or low your headlights can be. In CO your tires can't stick out more than 1" from the outermost portion of the fender, your suspension can not be modified from stock, and your headlights can't be above or below a certain height. Cops here just tend to turn a blind eye to those things.
They turn a blind eye because they are well aware that, while still on the books, the bulk of those restrictions have been ruled unconstitutional...
